Summary
Clarivet does not set cookies. Neither its own nor third-party ones, neither for measurement nor for advertising. That is why you will not see a cookie banner: there is nothing to accept.
What it does store in your browser are a few things the service cannot work without, without which you could not sign in or carry on where you were.
What is stored in your browser
On each practice's website
| What | Where | What for | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| The language you choose | Local storage | Showing you the website in that language next time | Until you change it or clear your browser data |
| Your session, if you sign in | Local storage | Keeping you signed in when you come back | Until you sign out |
| The round trip when signing in | Tab storage | Checking that the return from sign-in is yours | Cleared on return |
| What you choose while requesting an appointment | Tab storage | Not losing it if you reload the page | Cleared when you request the appointment or close the tab |
In the practices' panel
The panel stores your session and some display preferences, such as the language, in the browser's local storage, for the same purpose: so you carry on where you were when you come back.
Why we do not ask your permission
The law (Art. 22.2 of the Spanish LSSI, Art. 122 of the Italian Codice in materia di protezione dei dati personali, and Directive 2002/58/EC on which both are based) exempts from consent what is strictly necessary to provide a service you have asked for. Everything in the table is: without it you could not sign in or request an appointment.
What there is not
- There are no third-party visit counters, social network pixels or advertising.
- Maps are not loaded inside the page: the «Get directions» button opens the map service in another tab, and what happens there is governed by its own rules.
How to clear it
You can clear all of this from your browser settings, under «Site data» or «Privacy». If you do, you will have to sign in and choose the language again.
Changes
If Clarivet ever needs something that is not strictly necessary, we will ask you first and explain it here, with a new revision date.
